The appearance was a dark brown color with a two finger off white foamy head. Held for a little bit and gently slid off to leave some light stringy lace.
The aroma had some milk chocolate, light caramel, roasted nuts and some sweet to toasty coconut.
The flavor started with the sweetness of the blend of the milk chocolate to caramel to coconut blend. It gently leads into some light roasty nuts. Light aftertaste of the coconut, nuts and milk chocolate. Nice sweet to toasty sort of finish.
The feel was roughly medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation and the ABV felt good. Pretty smooth all around as the roast is there but not rugged or grinding.
Overall, a very well done brown ale with a nice creative take on adding in the coconut. Would love to have again if I could.

On tap at North Center. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Aroma heavily lavender and herbal. Flavor also dominated by lavender, piney herbal, a touch of coriander. Not terrible, but I can’t say it appeals to me that much.

On tap at the brewery. Citrusy aroma. Fresh juicy hop flavors of orange, grapefruit, lemon. Some pale malt in the background. Really some good stuff.

On tap at North Center. Pours a murky orangey golden. Floral, citrus, yeasty aroma. Flavor has citrus, pine, floral hops, again a bit yeasty. Quite good, really.

On tap at MBGSF 2016. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma is just generally fruity to me. Flavor has dark fruit and molasses along with an alcohol presence. Solid.

On tap at MBGSF 2016. Pours a fully hazy pale golden with a white head. Aroma is tart pear mostly. Sour tart pear and apple flavor, not particularly sweet. Pretty nice, really.

On tap at the brewery. Deep brown pour with an off-white head. Roasty resinous pine aroma. Flavor is pine resin, roasty, ashy herb. Quite tasty.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy golden with a white head. Yeasty wheat aroma. Flavor is yeasty clove, wheat, a touch of the cherry in there, but blended well into the flavor. I actually really like this.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a pinkish amber, clear. Apple aroma. Flavors is red apple, tart and sweet, with tart cherry in it. Decent.
