On tap at North Center. Pours deep brown with no head. Candy caramel and marshmallow aroma. Flavor has the buttery candy caramel with dark cocoa, somewhat roasty. Honestly the caramel is a bit too much like a caramel chew and doesn’t mesh perfectly with the beer, but it’s still alright.

Jar from the brewery. Pours a fully hazed golden with a little white ring around the rim. Honey aroma, a bit herbal and slightly sweet, with a little touch of plastic at the end. Flavor is honey with a touch of floral, somewhat sweet. Lighter flavor than I’d expect. Decent.

On tap at North Center. A deep brown pour. Sweet aroma with brown sugar. Flavor is sweet maple brown sugar, coffee and roasty hints. This is pretty good, but the maple seems to cover up some of the other flavors. I like the original a lot more.

On tap at North Center, and it happens to be rating #1300 for me. A deep brown pour. Cocoa and molasses aroma. Very sweet chocolate roasty molasses flavor, malted milk balls, coffee. Hop touch at the end. This is one great brown ale!
