Champion brewing company is Virginia's most progressive brewery, producing a wide variety of ales in two locations: our downtown Charlottesville tap room and our Belmont production facility. Our production brewery known as the 'missile factory' produces our core and seasonal beers on a 30-barrel brewhouse, at a current operating capacity of 15,000 barrels per year. Our original tap room produces constantly changing and innovative seasonals, one-offs, and barrel-aged wild beers.

$2.90 can from Wine Warehouse. Aroma is peach, pine, citrus peel. I smell no chocolate or coffee. Flavor is grapefruit peel, pine, perhaps a hint of chocolate if I stretch far enough. It’s tasty, no doubt, but I almost feel like this was miscanned.

Refrigerated 12 oz. aluminum can poured into a weizen glass. Slightly hazy golden with small fluffy white head. Aroma is light herbal hops, medium body, light carbonation, and soapy lacing. Taste is light herbal hops.

Can. Pours clear black, medium tan head, creamy with nice lacing. Aroma is roasty, molasses, ginger, root beer. Flavor is light sweet, light plus bitter. Medium body. Not bad.

Can: Corn, fairly pronounced grassy hop nose. Shimmering yellow, thick head, good lace. Very grassy, quite bitter. Light body, moderate carbonation. Haha, this is no bland mexican lager. This is a hyper-hopped pilsner!

Can. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of straw and grass with a bit of hay supporting. Flavor has lots of grains and straw with some grass and bread backing.

Pour is a hazy straw with a large white head. Aroma is a decent bitter citrus fruit. Flavor is more citus fruit with no malt presence and a palpable bitterness. Not overly hoppy but this still has plenty of fruit flavor from the fruit juices.

Can as Malibu Nights, 7.0%. Wine Warehouse. Pours orange-pink... large off-white very soft head. Cat piss and pine aroma. Flavor is pine, wonky funk - rotting fruit: not only citrus but something else. Some sort of citrus rind, perhaps ruby grapefruit. It’s weird.
