Bottle: Almost clear, deep golden, stable mid-sized (off-)white head; moderate bisquity-grainy nose with a "woody" hoppy background; soft and nearly medium bodied; slightly lingering bisquity and hoppy finish with an increasing bitterness in the aftertaste. Very well made czech brew.....

Lahev z Pivoteky: Deep golden, a bit unclear, relatively quickly collapsing fluffy off-white head; caramel, straw and woody hops in the nose; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; slightly increasing bitterness towards the pale-malty and hoppy finish. Quite good.......

(bottle) Porter-/Stout-like appearance, black coloured hue with a beige medium-sized foamy head. Moderately sweet and quite roasty malty aroma with traces of caramel, coffee and leather. Sweet and roasty bitter flavour, medium to full bodied with a calm carbonation. Roast-malty taste with notes of caramel, leather and traces of mocha; moderately sweet and roasty bitter finish with a lasting aftertaste of coffee, liquorice and leather. Sweet and shy bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Mildly toasty and cara-malty taste with nutty notes; sweet and slightly bitter, delicately smoke-malty finish with notes of nuts and a tinge of popcorn in the aftertaste. 28.IV.11

Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a lively, if not fizzy carbonation. Minimally toasted malty and moderately wheaty taste with fruity notes of banana, bubblegum and berries; the toasty malt-character is getting more evident towards the moderately sweet and slightly bitter-tart finish with a slightly medicinal touch in the aftertaste. 28.IV.11

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of straw and a bit of caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of smoke, straw, and caramel, leading to a smokey finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.
