330ml bottle, many thanks to Erzengel! Pours black, pale tan head. Aroma has corn-like malt. Fairly light and oily on the palate, taste is light with earthy dark malt, light grain, light cola, light roast. Light and drinkable, just feels a bit lacking.

Gezapft: Almost clear, deep golden to light copper coloured, pretty stable medium-sized off-white head; mild to moderate malty-toasty nose; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, almost medium bodied and a bit fizzy; lingering dryish bitter-malty and mildly toasty finish. A decent sip...

0.3 l on tap at 'Bergmann Kiosk'. Hazy, orangeish amber with a medium large, dense, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish, grassy-spicy and quite fruity aroma of honey, grains, straw and orange peel. Quite sweet, malty, rather grassy-spicy and slightly fruity taste of grains, honey, straw and orange peel, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly dry, rather grassy-spicy finish. Medium to full body, smooth, creamy and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice, not that different from the earlier version though.

Tap Stehbierhalle: (Sud des Monats: Hörder Pils 5% ): Golden, hazy, slowly collapsing creamy and lacy white head; Mild to moderate sweetish-bitter grainy-malty nose with a gentle hayish-hoppy background; not too light bodied, even a certain malty base is detectable, a bit fizzy, but at least almost medium bodied, moderate sweet-bitter flavour; lingering - first dryish-bitter, later sweetish-malty finish. Klobouk dolu! A well balanced Pilsener, closer to the Bohemian original than most of these crappy german “Premium Pilseners”...

Weich wrziger, s herber Beginn. Steigende Malzigkeit mit hell brotigen Akzenten, hopfig-herb, sffig. Alkoholische Nuancen, auf keinen Fall strend. Zum Ende trockener, rund. Gut. 10/9/11/10//10

Sweetish, slightly fruity and a bit floral aroma of honey, orange blossom and peach. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, fruity-floral and slightly grassy taste of grains, straw, honey, peach and orange jam, followed by a short, moderately bitter, quite dry and rather grassy finish. Medium to full body, smooth and creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Pretty good, could serve as a decent summer refreshment as well.

Bottle. Lots of fruity esters, seem to be coming off the yeast. Moderate sweetness, moderate body, light bitterness, low carbonation. Light grassy flavour. Light roast, lightly astringent. Not bad, but not good either.
