Bottle at Bergmann Kiosk, Dortmund, 28/04/13. Light black with a medium sized tan head. Nose is dark toffee, liqcqourice, ash, mineral notes. Taste comprises toffee, molasses, light roast, brown sugars, touch of liqourice. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Pretty decent schwartz, one of the more flavoursome ones I’ve come across.

Bottle, consumed on the patio outside Bergmann Kiosk - Dortmund, 28/04/13. Mid golden with a thin off white head. Nose is pale malts, grass, light toffee, citrus. Taste follows, light orange, caramel, citrus, grass, pale malts. MEdium bodied, fine carbonation, dry and crisp in the finish. Piss flaps cock lozenge - not my writing ... hmmm! Ok pils - refreshing on what was a warmish day.

Bottle from Bergmann Kiosk, split on the 1709 train to Dusseldorf, 28/04/13. Hazed mahogony brown with a medium sized beige/light tan head. Nose is dark malt, toffee, roasty, hint of chocolate, dark fruits, nutty, touch of yeast, light booze. Taste comprises dark malts, toffee fudge, touch of cocoa, dark fruits, light spice. Fullish body, fine carbonation, smooth on the palate with a touch of booze. Good stuff!

Bottle from Bergmann Kiosk, split on the 1709 train to Dusseldorf, 28/04/13. Clear golden with a thin white head. Nose is pale malts, toffee, sugars. Taste comprises pale malts, grass, citrus, light caramel. Medium bodied with a little added ooomph, moderate carbonation, dry finish. Ok stuff.

Bottle 330ml.Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, vegetables, light hoppy. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20120523]
