Bottled 500ml. -at Pivoteka Zagreb. Unclear darker golden coloured, small white head, pleasant fruity hoppy nose. Moderate malty, slightly bready, decent flowery fruity hoppy notes with a bit too strong bitterness in the finish. All in all pleasant brew.

Bottled at Craft Room, Zagreb. Cloudy amber, small head. Rich aroma of lychee and kumquat. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Fruity with lots of tropical fruit. Mid bitter finish. Solid.

Finally! I’ve known one of the founders for years now, and was pleasantly surprised when he got into homebrewing with some friends - and even more so that when they have, after showing with some really good homebrew, decided to go pro. Pulfer is brewed at Kahli in Kućan Marof near Varaždin now - where Nova Runda and BaD Brewery tried before. And it was a typical situation for these parts, with brewpub brewers with 20 years of experience set in their ways, meet homebrewers aware of the goings-on in the beer world, with most problems hopefully sorted out now. They are starting out with this pale ale, and will hopefully bring more beers out in some time. Bottle @ the Cash&Carry event at the Jabukovac portion of the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. With kajser, franski, Hrabren and others... Poured a lovely dark orange-amber body, misty, with a thick medium head. Aroma... flowery, orange, honey, apricot jam, fresh. Taste... well, a bit on the herbal side, flowery, citrusy, mild hoppiness, with the bitterness perhaps a bit higher than is stated, building up in the aftertaste, perhaps offsetting the balance a little. Perhaps the most "classical" APA on the market, this is a very drinkable beer, as evidenced by a ton of non beer-geeks returning to it at the event, but yet retains enough interest for the craft beer crowd . Wouldn’t call it too light myself, definitely not for the style, and special props to the brewers for all the hurdles they’ve had to jump over while getting it there. Some room for tweaking might exist, yeah, but it’s already a good beer.

0.5 l bottle, promotion at Academy of Arts, Jabukovac (Appleville), Zagreb. Hazy amber, small white head. Light to medium hops aroma, earthy, leaves. Light bitterness, light body, soft carbonation. Texture is to watery, aroma is slightly faint. Room for improvement, best wishes to the brewers.
