Bottle shared by Bob, thanks! Pours a clear bright yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has tart lemon and a bit of acid with a light oakiness underlying. Flavor has sour and tart lemon with some sweet grain and a bit of oak coming through.

Bottle big thanks to Kenny. It pours lightly hazy deep mahogany brown with a small white head. The aroma is sweet, sappy, raisin, sultana, toffee, fudge, orange marmalade sandwiches, orange blossom, nutty, bourbon soaked oak, vanilla and fruit cake. The taste is slick, oily, toasty grain, bitter - sweet, brown bread, malt loaf, dried fruits, raisin, sultana, brown bread, spicy rye bread, nutty, boozey warmth, chewy and spice with a warming finish. Fulsome body and moderate carbonation. Big chewy BA Barleywine. Fun stuff.
