Bottle picked up at Dunnottar Wines. It pours clear golden - amber with a fuzzy white head. The aroma is fresh and funky, juicy ripe apple, tangy apple pie with custard, apple skin, earth, oak, zinginess, lemon peel and sherbet. The taste is crisp, firmly dry, zingy, sherbet, minerality, apple skin, touch of apple pie, juicy crisp apple, light tannin, earthy, wood, funk, grape skin, gooseberry and a twist of lemon with a drying finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Very nice stuff. Bright and juicy, tart and drying. Nice work!
