Bottle from Roeland Liquors. It pours lightly hazy amber with a thick, foamy off-white head. The aroma is sweet - spicy, brown bread, cereal, rivita and some farmyard. The taste is crisp, dry, brown bread, cereal, cracker, rivita, some lemon sherbet, apple, white grape skin and gooseberry with a dry, spiced finish. Light + body and moderate - high, foamy carbonation. Decent stuff. Drinks well.

Keg, nitro dispense at BeerHouse on Long. It pours darkest brown with a decent tan head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, rich roasted malt, creamy, chocolate cake, toasted coconut, vanilla and wood. The taste is smooth, roasted malt, wood, toasty, vanilla, coffee grounds, chewy, treacle, toasted coconut and mild astringency with a dry, roasted coffee finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. Nice balance of flavours. Good one.
