The bottle looks really good, the beer in the glass also, fine turbid, small but nice head. Starts malty-spicy, mild, but not washy. Modest grasy notes, well balanced finish. Very drinkable. I really liked it!

Draft at the brewpub. A dark red-brown beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt, alcohol, and a lighter note of soy sauce. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, straw, and alcohol, leading to a bitter finish, where the straw note lingers. A bit too alcoholic for my liking.
