Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass very zippy, huge head. Starts very fruity, notes of peaches and apricot, quite sweet, a bit alcoholic. Finish oily, sweet, sticky. Not my favourite!

Draft at the brewpub. An amber beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, alcohol, and fruit. The flavor is very sweet with notes of fruit and alcohol, that leaves a light burn on the palate, leading to a dry, bitter, and alcoholic finish.

On tap. Clear golden with a creamy off-white head. Aroma of malt, fruit and alcohol. Very full-bodied with loads of malt and caramel, some floral hoppiness and a very distinct alcoholic finish. Drinkable though. 280608

A bit hazy amber color, good white head. Strong berry-like aroma. Very sweet, fruity, alcoholic flavor, which is warming. Some grassy bock-like notes. A bit too sweet though. I don’t agree that this is a Baltic porter but more like a Doppelbock (by strength).

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy deep orange with a dense and creamy white head. Dense caramel malt aroma and solid alcoholic. Flavour is mild spiced and solid caramel. Ends bitter and mild spiced with a continued malt flavour and a heavy alcohol presence. Slight burning finish.

Draught at the brewpub during RBESG08. I seem to remember having quite a lot of this. Slight hazy amber with thin off whtie head. A bit like a strawberry barley wine. It’s rather good and I like the intense flavours and feel. Reminded me of Hog’s Back A Over T which Ungstrup said he disliked when I mentioned this.
