On tap. Pours with a murky/turbid hued yellow body with a low head. Aromas seem to show slight tannic extraction. Nutty, malty, bready, low ester, almost a light phenol, sawdust. Flavors are malty, bready, low ester, mostly dry, ripe apple and caramel. Medium bodied, dry.

On tap. Pours with a crystal clear golden hued body with a small white head. One of the most flocced beers of the flight. Aromas are malty, bready, nutty, apple, low esters. Pretty clean overall. Flavors show medium malt, honey, floral, biscuity, grainy, dry. Pretty clean. Light mineral character. Medium bitter, medium carbonation. Dry.

On tap. Pours with a mildly hazy medium golden hued body with a low head with decent retention. Aromas are medium caramel, bready, malty, mild fruity esters, apple, pear, marmalade, mostly malt. Flavors are malty, low esters, caramel, a touch of leather, bready, medium to low carbonation and drier than expected for a mild ale.

On tap. The only winner in the Hefe flight. That said, this is an extremely solid beer (not only compared to the others, but to Hefes in general). Pours with a hazed, medium yellow hued body and a small white head. Aromas are great. Ripe banana, medium isoamyl acetate, lots of vanilla, grainy, light mint, light clove, awesome balance of ester and phenols. Flavors show light bubblegum, medium malt, low bitternes, nice isoamyl acetate, but relatively clean otherwise. A touch of fruit, medium 4VG, good carbonation, and a silky mouthfeel. The best of the flight by a WIDE margin! I would brew a Hefe with this yeast purely based off this 4oz sample.

Flavors are of apple, light clove phenols, mild pepper, belgian esters, medium fruits. Medium carbonation, dry, relatively bland.

On tap at White Labs. Pours with a hazed very pale yellow hued body with a medium sized white head. Aromas are nutty, low tannin, medium earthy, grainy, low DMS, honey, floral, light fruit. Flavors are quite bland, wheat, grainy, floral, honey, apple. Light phenol. Restrained in almost all aspects. Medium carbonation, light sweetness.

On tap at the tasting room. Pours with a hazed golden hued body with a small white head. Aromas are estery and a bit messy, apple, pear, acetaldehyde, medium ester, low phenol, light clove, medium malt, feels a touch sticky. Flavors are lightly phenolic, low coriander, apple. Honestly it tastes like homebrew without temperature control. Lively bubbles, dry, lightly malty, lots of apple. With the exception of one beer, this was a pretty rough flight.

On tap. Pours with a mildly hazed yellow hued body with a white head. Aromas are floral, citrusy, grassy, baked bread, dank, low ester, medium malt, mild fruit. Flavors are hoppy, tangerines, medium-low hop bitterness, light malt, smooth transitions. Cleanish. Medium bubbles, moderately dry with low accentuated bitterness.

On tap. Pours with the best clarity of that day’s flight. Yellow with a nicely sized white head. Good lace. Aromas are grassy, tangerine, mild DMTS, all hops, grassy, lightly fruity. Flavors are smooth, nice bitterness, floral, clean, bitterness is low and well balance. Moderate carbonation. Low malt. Feels well rounded. Dry.

Flavors are lightly watery, grassy, tangerine, dank, weed, herbal. Very clean, low bitterness. Accentuated by a light pear like ester. Lively bubbles. Dry.
