Keg at the brewpub, Prague Day 2 of Fergus and Sarah’s Czech jaunt. 30/09/14. Hazed yellow / straw coloured pour with a lasting rocky white head. Aroma is lovely fresh grains, spicy noble hops, little vanilla. Flavour is composed of spicy hop, grainstore, crisp pils grains, clean yeast, hint honey. Crisp touch too sweet, semi-dry finish. Nice lingering hop.

On tap at the brewpub as Svetlý lezák 12°. Hazy, pale golden. White head and lacing. Aroma of grass, Czech hops and green apples. Similar taste. Low bitterness.

(Draught at Pivovar u Bulovky, Prague, 20 July 2013. 6.0%) Dark brown colour, almost black, with creamy beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of black rye bread, dark chocolate and caramel. Malty, roasted taste with dark rye bread, coffee, chocolate, hints of soy sauce and a gentle spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a light sweetness. Well balanced and tasty. Nice one.

(Draught at Pivovar u Boluvky, Prague, 20 July 2013) Hazy yellow colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with grass, bread, hay and elderflower. Fruity taste with notes of bread, grass, elderflower, canned peaches and a mild bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Drinkable and quite enjoyable.

Tap @ Brewpub, Prague. Pours dark ruby amber with a creamy head. Sweet malty and fruity nose. Mildly tart and earthy flavor. Dark fruit, bubblegum and alcohol. Medium bodied.

Tap @ Brewpub, Prague. Pours hazy golden with a creamy white head. Straw, lemon and grass. Freshly hopped. Smooth, dry and crisp with the citrus and lemon hops lingering. Nice.

Sweet and fruity nose and taste with lots of banana and orange and a touch of coriander and wheat. Lively carbonation. Quite tasty and well balanced

Točené: Unclear, amber, medium-sized off-white head with a nice lacework, caramelly and hoppy nose with a fruity touch that sedmy to be a first trace of infection; sweetish-bitter flavour, medium bodied; chocolatey traces in the short caramelly-fruity finish. Not the best choice…

(Draught at the brewpub, Prague, 27 July 2012) Dark amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, slightly fruity nose with notes of toast, orange peel and dried apricots. Malty taste with toast, dark bread, hints of orange and a mild, spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with balanced sweetness. Well balanced and quite nice.

(Draught at the brewpub, Prague, 27 July 2012) Hazy, murky yellow colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, malty nose with citrus, peaches and hay. Fruity taste with notes of peaches, citrus, white bread and hints of grass in a finish with a fairly low bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. A decent kölsch style beer.
