Bottle. Unclear golden color with white head. Aroma is white wine, white grape juice. Taste is white grape juice, some weird stuff, funky, earthy. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Quite weird, and too alcoholic.

Rerate from tap at Hopdog. Embarrassingly had this many times at Hopdog and never rerated it. Lovely juicy straw and grain nose, chewy, dry, fruity, light metallic herbal, broad hop finish, very moreish, excellent.
Old rating 6 7 8 6 7 Bottle. Cloudy Amber, off-white foam. Chewy juicy sparkly base, good broad bitter notes on chewy fruits, clean, satisfying, moreish.

Fläschla (750ml, vintage 2015, purchased at Hopfen&Malz, Wedding): Hazy, amber coloured with a ruby sheen, small and slowly collapsing loose off-white foam, moderate sourish-sweet aroma of fruits and malt with distinctive traces of wood and vinous spots; moderate to solid sourish-sweet flavour, just medium bodied, both soft and tarf; lingering sourish-sweet finish with dried fruits and wood, increasing bitterness towards the aftertaste, some warming alcohol detectable. Quite good, the franconian equivalent to a Flemish red...

Tap, Steinkrug. Creamy dense head. Aroma is grassy hops, earthy malts, bready, hay, rustic. Taste is rustic barn, hay, bready, earthy, cereal, very bitter herbal finish. Mineraly mouthfeel with natural carbonation. A very rustic experience, great stuff!

Tap. Rather clear amber color with white head. Aroma is buttery, caramel, earthy, rustic barn. Taste is rustic barn, buttered caramel, earthy hops. Oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Quite tasty.

Tap at the brewery, as Fastenbier. Rather clear amber color with creamy white head. Aroma is caramel, light yeast, bready, sweet stuff. Taste is caramel, almost sugary, with a heavy earthy bitterness from the hops. Oily mouthfeel with low carbonation. Very sweet, but good.

From barrel at Moor. It pours clear amber with a small bubbly white head. The aroma is sweet, oily, sticky, sponge cake, muffin, grassy, herbal, sweet, cakey and almond. The taste is slick, soft, sweet, cakey malts, brioche, orange muffin, toasted almond, touch of warmth, orange blossom, biscotti, bead, brioche and candy with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Sounds sweeter than it is. Fun stuff. Flavourful.
