Bottle at London Drinker BF 08. Slight haze on a brownish copper colour colour. That is a very tasty beer. Little bit of choc malt, lovely hop. Full in mouth and enormously drinkable. Lovely malts. So drinkable. Great raspberry/strawberry flavours. Then this hop kicks in. Superb.

Bottle at London Drinker BF 08. Gold, cloudy, odd sediment floating under a white head. Cereal, slightly fishy aroma. Some banana, bit of herb. More banana in mouth. More of a refreshing weisse. Bit over carb’d. Some bubblegum. It’s a light weisse, not a huge body, but it does have the lemon, cereal, bubblegum characteristics.

Bügelverschlußflasche (purchased at the brasserie): Deep golden, mid-sized white head, visible carbonation; aromatic hops and bready/malty traces in the aroma; low carbonation, moderate to stronger bitter-sweet flavour; lingering malty and bitter finish. Decent franconian stuff..........

Bügelverschlußflasche: Deep ruby amber coloured, small, but stable lacy off-white head; quite robust sweet caramelly plus light roasted malty aromas with a hoppy background; solid sweet(-malty) and bitter flavour, medium bodied, soft MF; fruity and tosted-malty aromas (a bit Stout-like) in the drier caramelly-hoppy finish. Very good, well balanced and fully flavoured stuff........

(bottle) Hazy golden colour with a big foamy white head. Sweet, moderately wheaty nose with banana-fruity accents and vanilla. Wheat-malt and banana-fruit character is well-displayed; spicy phenols are staying in the background. Almost mellow and quite balanced Hefeweizen (01.02.08).

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a nice blond foamy head. Light-sweet, slightly grainy and shy citrus fruity nose. Light-bitter flavour, light bodied, moderate, slightly crispy carbonation. Slim and soft malty, slightly herbal taste; light taste but not watery; herbal accents in the background. Slightly bitter and herbal hoppy finish with a balancing malty sweetness. Not bad for its low abv.

An unclear light yellow beer with a huge orange head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of citrus and wheat, but also light notes of banana. The flavor is sweet wheaty with light notes of banana and cloves, leading to a dry wheaty finish.

(swing top bottle) Hazy, orange to amber colour with beautiful, slightly off-white foamy head. Sweet toast-malty, slightly nutty and fruity nose with caramel and a whiff of hops in the background. Moderately sweet flavour, medium to full body with a smooth and pleasant carbonation. Slightly toasty and fruity malty taste with herbal notes; sweet and slightly bitter finish with a rounded malty sweetness and balancing bitter hops. Reminds me of the Göller Bock.

(swing top bottle) Clear, deep golden colour with a big and lacy foamy white head. Hearty herbal hops aroma with a tinge of honey and cara-malt in the background. Sweet-bitter flavour, almost medium bodied with a well-carbonated soft mouthfeel. Good malty base with aromatic herbal hops right from the start and subtle fruity accents; quite dry and lingering hoppy, slightly floral finish. A gem.
