Bottle (@ Landbierparadies): Slightly hazy, golden to orangey coloured, small white head; barnyard smell with a "taste of honey" and a touch of hops; sweetish (honey) and moderate bitter flavour; lingering, but light bitter finish. Not really one of my franconian favourites.............

Bottle: Clear and dark amber coloured with a tin but dense off-white head, quite stable; sweet (dark or roast-) malty nose with a touch of caramel, a tinge of wine and alcohol, some fruitiness from dried fruit also detectable; sweetish-bitter flavour, creamy mouthfeel, quite full bodied; rather dry malty-fruity finish with some chocolatey bitterness coming quite late. A very tasty, well rounded Bock ! Pivo cislo sedm set................

Bottle (from the Landbierparadies Nürnberg): Deep amber coloured, small, fluffy brownish head, quickly diminishing to a small frothy layer; distinctive fruity and grainy nose with a tinge of yeast and hops; the taste is also fruit and malt with a background hop-presence; slightly bitter finish with a distinctive fruitiness and traces of malt, too. All in all a well made Fränkisches Bier...............

Sweet malty flavour and taste, slightly toasted with caramel and raisins, slightly herbal hoppy but mainly sweet malty finish with liquorice and cinnamon. Well-balanced and quaffable Bock.
