Taster pour from a can at Munchie Madness festival, 2022. It's a reddish-hued light brown-amber with trace sparkle, thin cap of off-white head with no lacing. Aroma is light peanut butter, fruit marmalade, bready malt. Taste is strong raspberry jam, very mild peanut with no tartness, graham cracker/cookie base. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with thin, smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, I missed the call on the jam flavor and didn't get the lactose (other than there was ZERO tart/sour quality to this). Wish the peanut butter had been more present in the flavor.

Four pack of tallboys from Whole Paycheck. NB goblet @home. Stiff eggshell head. Honey look. Smells like lemon honey tea on the stove. Sweet & sharp. Sour lime & bittersweet grapefruit mostly. Juicy, lemonade-ish. Dry malt finish. Radler territory, but fresher. Low carbonation, a little syrupy, good acid though. Refreshing.

Single from Whole Paycheck. Canned 3/29/22. Long lingering, stiff eggshell head. Almost clear, pale gold. Flour, steel, grass & flowers. A little sweet upfront, like grapes. Sharp, progressively bitter, lemon, lingering steel & pine is distracting. Frothy, but losing carbonation fast. Slick feel. ABV feels stronger than list. Not my kind.

OK, so I hope this is the right place, my can says 8%! Hazy pinkish brown with a somewhat nuitral nose and a very slight olfactory of berries perhaps? Taste is somewhat tart fruit and the alky can barely be detected. For 8%, you better be careful of this. You'd never know this ice cream flavored brew was a strong armed beer. Tasty fruit berliner fer sure. Is this really a berliner? Berliners are usually a low alky brew, I wonder if this is fortified, just asking.

Got this pounder can from my daughter's fridge in cary. OK, so this is the pastry beer that mates with the french toast beer. Either way, its just as cloying as the other. Yes, its dark and its cloying, just like the other stuff. Its also quite boozy, alky is more apparent in this than the other. Overall , there pastry beers are so cloying, I cannot stand them. There you have it. Would not drink this stuff again.

Grabbed this pounder can from my daughter fridge while visiting cary, NC. It pours really dark brown with reddish dark brown hue visible thru it. Nose is typical choco porter. Taste is odd cinnamon, gosh, I dislike these new pastry brews. Its cloying with these odd spices that really makes a beer difficult to gulp. To call this a flavored porter is a misnomer, its certainly a pastry brew. There is really nothing porter about it in this stuff. Breakfast? Not sure. Would not purchase again. Not good but hey, I just don't get the mouth coating cloying pastry thang. Cloying is not really part of a beer, unless its a rude barley wine, no? There, you have it. Blah. At least its a little easier to take than a rude ass gag me with a spoon IPA.

16oz can pours out hazy golden topped with a white head. Nose is nice sweet tropical fruit hops along with some melon. Taste is more of the nice sweet fruit melons and a nice end.
