Bottle at share. Jet black pour, short lived layer of beige head. Aroma is roasty, chocolate, vanilla and some maple. More of the breakfast vibe in the taste, adding some coffee bitterness to the sweet, chocolate and maple. Bourbon booziness is present throughout the entire pour.

Bottle at share. Dark brown pour, thin caap of beige foam. Aroma is coconut and chocolate, notes of vanilla. Taste is sweet, molasses, toffee, nutty. Thick bodied, chewy.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear purple with a red hue and a think pink head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has a strong sour blueberry note with some sweet grain and a hint of yogurt underlying. Flavor has strong sour blueberry with an acid note and a bit of sweet grain backing.

Sampled from nitro at the brewpub. Pours a clear amber with a copper hue and a tan head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma has a good amount of bread and grain with some grass and hay underlying. Flavor is bread forward with some grains, straw and a hint of grass backing.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a cloudy yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has dank pineapple, some sauv grapes and a hint of grass underlying. Flavor has pineapple and a bit of dank grass with a touch of grapes and a sweet grain backbone.

Aroma has dark mango and earthy citrus with a touch of grass and sweet grains backing. Flavor has a good amount of mango and pineapple with a touch of dank citrus and sweet grains supporting.

Bottle at Stout Week line share, 2/17/24. Dark, viscous, no head. Big maroon highlights. Nose has both a big blast of bourbon alongside big adjunct character that does combine to give a candy bar character. Problem being, I don't want my stout to smell like a candy bar. I think if they left out the graham cracker and marshmallow it would have come off a bit better, but it's still got a lovely, spicy, rich, even slightly elegant and well aged bourbon character. Sweet, but with good acidity coming from barrel and malt immediately. A bit of perfume vanilla, but lots of chocolate, mallow and in general, candy bar-like sweetness. Soft, lightly syrupy, low carbonation. Not boozey.

500mL bottle drunk 2/14/24. Inky oil, no head. Mellow, rich, bourbony nose with vanilla and dark chocolate. Good fruitiness, vanilla, coconut, seemingly good attenuation. Chocolate fudge, light bourbon with coconut and vanilla suggestions. Syrupy but not too sweet. Big fudge and light mallow. Some dry peanut like character on the finish. Could use a bit more spicy bourbon and other acidity but well done.
