Appearance: Hazy yellow to orange, one finger tall white frothy head of medium retention. Aroma and taste: Exotic fruit, predominantly catty, citrus. Light to medium sweet and bitter. Mouth feel: Medium body, soft top average carbonation. Summary: Underwhelming.

Appearance: Cloudy gold, tall white frothy head of good retention. Aroma and taste: Grain, blossom, apples and pears, hay, slight phenols, grassy hop. Mouth feel: Medium body, average carbonation. Summary: One of rare successful attempts by craft breweries in making a proper Belgian ale.

Which silly person thought these spices were a good idea? I bet it wasn't Chewbacca. Little bit thin, some roast, pretty sweet. That's all survivable. But then the spices. A metric shitton of star anise, some gingeryness and a truck of cinnamon. No.

500ml can at Right Hops in Moscow. Pours slightly foggy yellow with a medium-sized head. Aroma is grain, wood, malt. Taste is light to medium sweet, wood chips, malt. Medium bitter finish. Too bitter for a pilsener in my opinion.
