From can to glass. Hazy pale yellow with white head. Seemed a bit infected at first, but the funk started to be overt juice as it warmed. My first time with these hops to my knowledge. Curious to try more as this one seemed a bit off.

Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Aroma is very berry forward, but not jammy. Lots of fruity berry notes with a bit of tannins. Light funk and hints of malt. Light red wine and oak notes. Pours a bit hazy, purple color with a medium small, thin, pink head that recedes quickly and disappears. No lacing or legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with a balanced, moderately strong acidity. Light oak and red wine notes with low to no bitterness. Moderate tannins with strong, deep, juicy berry notes. Not jammy, just really juicy fruit notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a surprisingly good beer. A well done expression of the berry notes. Super fruity and juicy without being jammy. Light tannins, barrel and funk.
