Funky cloudy light orange coloured body with a pretty large three to four centimetre tall head of VERY large bubbles (larger than soda) with an oily glow that looks like soap bubbles. Aroma of nice grassy and citrusey hops with a good bite of alpha acids with some noticeable what and sugars here as well, but crisp in the nose. Light-bodied; Very funky yeastie and wort-like flavours show at first with some wheat here as well, with a slight dose of citrus and tanginess at the end. Aftertaste is dry with the citrusey and slightly herbal hops noticeable, but the funky yeast, bready and worty flavours are stronger, especially on the finish, with a light sweetness on the end from canned corn. Overall, a decent enough start to my month of N/A beers, and from what I remember from these - this one is decent, not great, and while this attempts to be an IPA, it needs a bit more defined hops. A good place to start and many more to come during the month! I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Whole Foods in Philadelphia (Center City), Pennsylvania on 04-February-2023 for US$1,49, canned on 01-November-2022 and sampled on 28-February-2023 as the first Non-Alcoholic beer of my month of not drinking anything at all.

Can from AJ's. Very pale gold, clear, with a bubbly head. NZ hop nose, I am getting Nelson, with white grape and a bit of catpiss (although it is Citra and Cascade!). Lovely hops, really, and very light, unobtrusive malts. Flavor is also light on the malt, probably corn in there--not on the label--but the hops are amazing. Really huge white grape, citrus, light herbs. Light body, more mellow than crisp. Interesting beer. Totally simple beer with amazing Citra hop aromas and flavors. The web site says Citra and Cascade but I would swear this was Nelson.

Super clear, bright and golden coloured body with a pretty frothy, pure white head that fades pretty quickly with a zillion bubbles rising from the bottom, but a great glow that almost looks neon. Aroma of very bright and strong citrus, grapefruit, hay, grass and perfume here, with a dash of bananas and cloves, with a deeper scent of yeast than most others. Light to Medium-bodied; Very crisp, grassy and herbal profile shows through, with a nice bitterness of flowers and citrus zest showing from the hops with an enjoyable, dry and perfumey finish that shows some malt notes towards the end, but balanced nicely throughout, which is great for the style. Aftertaste is very crisp - almost exactly what you'd expect from this sub-style, with a nice bitterness from the hops, but a good level of light support from the malts - nice and balanced with smooth flavours and a moderate complexity. Overall, very nice to try with an overall great crisp and dryness with smooth malts - great to have and I'll be looking for more from this series the next time I'm in New Jersey! Great after the USMC Marathon 2022 - congratulations to my wife for running yet another one (and to me for doing it with her), but mostly to her! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 03-September-2022 for US$3,19, packaged on 23-June-2022 and sampled at my house in Washington on 30-October-2022, a few hours after just running the USMC Marathon 2022, just a few blocks from my house.

Draught @ Double Windsor, Brooklyn (May 2023). The 2021 product. Clear reddish copper with a small frothy beige head, very faint caramel aroma, low carbonation, medium bitter lightly woodsy caramel malt taste and cherry flavor with alcohol undertones, smooth thin body, long caramel-cherry finish. Quite a complex and satisfying flavor profile.
