Draught at the brewery; Whiskey barrel, vintage 2015
Murky amber colour. Vanilla aroma. Not much body, not much malt flavour, no depth, light sweetness, some vegetables. Some booze.
Very chaotic.

Draught at the brewery
Black colour. Some vanilla aroma, makes we think they used some cheap industrial chocolate. Drier than expected, a beer of this size should have some sweetness to balance the alcohol, dusty chocolate shavings, booze. Ok

Has a good dark brown sugar sweetness, a semi-foggy brown body with good foam. Flavour is nice sweet malts but little else. Medium mouthfeel. Okay ale, not too interesting.

On tap at the brewery. Aroma is funky wet rotten vegetables but somehow it kind of works. Has a foggy copper brown body and good foam. Flavour is soft cola notes and sweet brown sugar. Medium mouthfeel, good balance despite the high abv. It's lacking in sourness but still very drinkable.

On tap at the brewer, sign said 11% alcohol. Has a good brown sugar sweetness on the note, and a nice head on top of a muddy brown body. Flavour is mellow sugar and molasses, and alcohol is very well hidden. Mouthfeel is sugary but not excessive and still balanced. It's a very fine barley wine, not overbearing at all.

Has a nice dry chocolate aroma on the nose, a good black body with medium foam. Flavour is good vanilla and wood notes on top of a sweet stout. Mouthfeel is medium, good sugar there making it full. It's a nice mix, decent drinking.

On tap at Storm, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Nose brings out diacetyl and chili peppers. Flavour is sweet and somewhat spicy, with sweet orange juice and light chili peppers. The diacetyl does poke through. Pretty terrible.
