Taster, many thanks to Werckmeister! Amber, hazy body, with a medium, creamy, light beige head. Aroma of grass, herbs, grains, bread, some caramel, some metallic notes. Tastes quite similar, while without the metallic notes, more rustic and toasty notes. Medium, a bit oily mouthfeel, with an avergage carbonation. Finishes moderate bitter, grassy, herbal, a bit toasty, a bit sweet, floral, bready. Nice one. Slight metallic off-notes in the nose, which fade as the beer warms up though. Taste is better, good balance between sweet, grainy and some toasty notes. Not bad overall, rustic and smooth to drink, but I enjoyed their Helles a bit more. 6 / 4 / 7 / 3 / 13

Taster, thanks to Werckmeister! Dark yellow, hazy body, with a medium, fluffy, off-white head. Aroma of sweet grains, bread, grass, some herbs, some citrus, slight honey. Tastes similar, with some more earthy notes. Medium, slick mouthfeel, with an average carbonation. Finishes smooth, grainy, grassy, floral, a bit herbal, a bit citric, a bit sweet, a bit hoppy-bitter. Really nice. Smooth and balanced between rustic notes, sweetness and a moderate hoppiness. Creamy grainy notes throughout. Very solid, quaffable Lager. Score: 7 / 4 / 7 / 3 / 14

BB 06.05.2019. amber murky color, medium big white head. smells earthy, spices, bit ciderish, bready, grassy, tobacco. nice smell. light body, pearly carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes tobacco, spices, earthy, peppery, marzipan, hints of pears, bit caramelly, light cocoa. finishes lightly bitter with notes of tobacco, spices and earthy notes. nice one, almost a bit too fizzy, but quite good to drink.

BB 17.05.2018. orange murky color, small white head. smells tobacco, earthy, spices, marzipan, bit flowery, nice smell. light body, pearly carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes soapy, marzipan, nutty, bready, peppery, spices, tobacco, earthy, bit rubbery. finishes lightly bitter with notes of nuts, bread and some tobacco notes. quite drinkable, quite smooth, nice bready notes. hints of some off notes, but not very distracting .. judging by the color ... it looks like a new england style lager though.
