Slightly hazy yellow color, good clody white head. Light citrus in the banana wheaty nose. Light to medium bodied. Citrusy acidic flavor, some fruity banana. Some sweetish candy in the Refreshing but not very exciting.

bottle from Landbierdealer. Clear pale yellow, large white head. Lovely hoppy nose. Light-bodied, elegant malty base with lots of romatic hops - like digging into a heap of fresh hops. Not too bitter, yet very aromatic, with a slightly resiny touch. A very well crafted exaple of the style.

bottle from Landbierdealer. Clear golden colour with an amber glow, large fluffy head. I can’t detect any smoke in the aroma, perhaps some wood and ash. Malty background, very shy (but pleasant, neverthelesse) smoky flavours present. Slightly hoppy. A mild beer with a shy smoke background. Rather high carbonation.

Bottle: Deep golden to light amber coloured, cloudy, slowly collapsing off-white head; moderate to solid sweetish/honeyish nose, presenting bananas and lemons, wheat and cloves underneath; moderate to solid sweet-sourish flvour; vanilla and bananas - again - in the sweetish finish, followed by a very light tartness in the aftertaste. Decent, but not too complex Weizenbock....

Bottle: Golden, small lacy white head, clear; sweet-grainy nose with molecular traces of smoke; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, soft, almost medium bodied; slightly lingering grainy-bitter finish with - again - very well hidden traces of smoke and also a discreet citrussy fruitiness. A beer for non-smokers.....

(bottle) Clear, amber to copper colour with a big but non persistent light-beige foamy head. Slightly sweet toast-malty aroma with notes of caramel and chocolate. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a pleasant carbonation. Solid toasty malt-character with caramel, a whiff of cacao and herbal accents; almost dry moderately toasty and hop bitter finish. Good one. 30.XI.10

(bottle, No. 5638) Cloudy, orange colour with a blond and huge foamy head. Yeasty, moderately phenolic spicy and wheat-malty aroma with bubblegum and a moderately fruity touch of apricots and lemon. Sweet flavour, medium bodied with a lively carbonation. Present wheat-character with a slightly Belgian impression of yeasty-spicy and minimally vinous fruity notes of apricots and lemon; moderately sweet fruity and wheaty finish with mildly spicy notes and a tinge of sourness. A Weizenbock that has its moments but is finally not overly demanding. 24.XI.10
