We are Pomona Island. We have a passion for innovation and style. We wake up each morning and strive each day to create te finest beers on the... Nah, can you imagine if we actually spoke like that? We're just beer snobs and over-appreciators who thought we would put our (small amount of) money where our (big) mouths are.

The Brewery is Nick and Ryan, who started the Gas Lamp bar in Manchester CIty Centre (where you can always find our beers!), Gaz from Marble Brewery and James from Tempest Brewery.

The beer is all stuff we like to drink. Loads of sessionable new world hoppy pales, more traditional stouts and porters. Big Juicy IPAs, and some fun experimental stuff to keep us and you interested.

44cl can from beardedavenger, my Summer Santa 2019, thanks! A hazy golden beer with a white head. Aroma of intense bitter citrus hops, pine, pale malt. Taste of intense hoppy citrus fruits, pine, zest, pale malt, a bit yeast, long bitter finish.

Cask @ The Grove, Huddersfield. Mildy hazy golden with a creamy-frothy head. Has a good hoppiness, is slightly dry, and slightly fruity.

Cask (gravity) @ [ EBF33 2019 ], 33rd Egham Beer Festival, Egham United Services Club (EUSC), 111 Spring Rise, Egham, Surrey, England TW20 9PE.

[ As Pomona Island Pale Citra Amarillo Mosaic ].
ABV: 3.8%. Unclear light to medium yellow colour with a small, open and fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, fruity hops, light tropical fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, tropical fruit, fruity hops, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20190801]

Can from richardsadler. Many thanks! Hazy yellow colour, white foam. Sweet fruity nose of passion fruit, citrus. Nice and easy drinkable pale ale.

Cask at the Guild Ale House, Preston. Pours hazy yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of light tropical fruit and lemon. Taste has a hint of resin, more tropical fruit, chewy hops. Bitter finish.

Backlog from 20th June. On keg at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - light amber and hazy. Thin white lacing. Nose - peach and resin. Taste - more peach, possibly apple/pear. Still some green resin. Palate - light bodied, creamy and fairly fresh on the finish. Overall - decent.

Can from Lupe Pintos. Hazy golden body with a white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of pine, grass and peach. Flavour of blood orange, peach and menthol. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. Bold and bitter, but lacking in drinkability.

Keg @ Vocation & Co, Leeds. Hazy golden with a light carbonation. It's a light example of sorachi hopping, but its influence is still very evident. There's a decent mild fruitiness alongside this, and it also helps to hide the beers strength.
