Can at home, from SMOD Online, watching the England innings vs Ireland in the first ODI 30/07/20. Moderate haze on an orange to golden pour with a well presented lasting white cap. Nose is orange pith, light floral notes, raw green strawberry whisper, melon, light candied fruits. Taste comprises orange zest, melon, light minerality, trace of apricot, grapefruit twang, grass, airy malts. Medium bodied, fine massaging carbonation closing with balanced lightly aggressive juicy hop bitterness. Solid quaffable IPA with an old skool leaning as advertised ... drinkability is high in this juan !

Can in Hackney Downs - sourced from All Good Beer HD. Pours lightly hazy gold with a foamy, white head. Lovely beer overall, moderately sweet, lots of bread, wheat, citrus impressions, low bitterness, yeast. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with more forward yeast, wheat bread, a little dough, accents of citrus, hay. Highly drinkable - my wife had half the can and remarked that this is one of the better beers I have shared with her in a while. Reminded me of a witbier almost. Tasty one.

Can, picked up at the brewery. Light haze on a fairly deep, orange gold. Thin, dense, fully lasting, semi lacing, leggy white head. Looks the beans. Nose has bitter orange peel. Clean, sweet malt. Some sticky pine. Big hit of sweaty, pissy, grassy simcoe. Absolutely delivers what’s promised. Taste has an initial, marmalade like sweetness, turning punchy, fresh hop and pine sap bitter. Lingers an age. Smooth and slick on the palate. Fine carbonation. Long lasting bitterness to finish. Right up my street this, and the kind of beer I’d never tire of. Awesome.

Can, picked up at the brewery. Soft haze on a dark straw colour. Wispy, dense white head. Nose has yeasty bread. Touch of clove. Whiff of sulphur. Orange peel. Some lemon rind. Some bright brett. Taste is well balanced, with light, fruity sweetness, and a moderate, slightly funky edge. Smooth and airy mouthfeel. Solid, foamy carbonation. Some dryness with more of the funk to finish. Great stuff. Super drinkable.

Can, picked up at the brewery. Pretty thick, dark orange gold. Off white head is beautifully shiny, slick, and fully lasting and lacing. Nose has fresh squeezed grapefruit. Peach and vanilla smoothie thing. Some sticky pine. It’s all here. Taste is juicy and sweet, with a robust pithy bitterness. Medium body is smooth and slightly slick. Foamy carbonation. Lingering grapefruit bitterness to finish. Just ridiculously well put together.

Can from Park Fever, Hither Green. Black pour with a beige head. Coffee, cola, marzipan, toffee, dark chocolate, cocoa aromas. Rich, soothing - nay- shoulder massaging flavours of chocolate cake, dark roast coffee, demerara sugar, cocoa. So smooth, velvety. Rich, sweet finish. Bloody good stuff!

Can from brewery at Attercliffe. Opaque black body with a tan head. Lots of roasty coffee and rich chocolate in the nose and taste, boosted with a big oily mouthfeel and a tangible boozy xmas cake fruit kick. Dangerously good. In fact probably the best beer I've had in a few years. I likes the Babalú.

Can, picked up at the brewery. Mostly clear, dark chestnut brown. A little slick and slow pouring. Sits nearly black in the glass, with a fine, dense, slightly leggy, tan head. Nose has dark chocolate. Sugar loaded espresso. Chocolate ice cream. Old Jamaica chocolate bar. Sweet steeped vine fruit. Some tar. I mean, it’s all here. Taste is perfectly balanced sweet and dark roast malt, and cocoa bitterness. Drinks super easy at the ABV. Fine carbonation. Touch of twang. Lingering dark chocolate bitterness to finish. Holy balls. Not even pastry. Best one yet.

Can ordered from Hop, Burns & Black. Spicy and earthy, citrus edged aroma. Hazy pale orange-gold. Thin translucent white head. Medium bitter. Juicy orange citrus then appears and with it sour-sweetness. Some resin. Spicy throughout. A touch tart into the finish. Light-medium bodied. Slick if thin feeling. Average carbonation. Dry astringent finish. Enjoyable. Interesting. One sip will be juicy. Another dry and spiced.

Can from HBB. It pours darkest brown with a dissipating foamy beige bead. The sticky, rich roasted malt upfront, earthy, some coffee beans, rich dark fruits, plum, date, prune, foggy pudding, some spice, dull smoke and some malt loaf. The taste is juicy upfront, bitter - sweet, good depth of tangy dark fruits, plum, prune, dried fig, raisin, fruit cake, eccles cake, malt loaf, earthy roast, coffee grounds, cacao, light treacle, candy sugar, rocky road, glace cherry, twist of orange and spice with a toasty finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Flavour and well rounded stuff. Enjoyable. Very nice.
