South Fylde Beery Day Out Beer#4. Clear golden coloured ale. Light fruity effort, but a hoppiness is slightly more dominant in taste. Good stuff nevertheless.

Cask at Bull & Stirrup, Chester. Pours a murky browny orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is mainly pith with some hints of oranges. In the mouth it is sweet and watery, and very little taste to start with. After a while there are some floral hops and angostura bitters. Finish is rather dry. This is a pretty awful beer – I had no idea what style it was supposed to be until I looked on Untappd !

Handpull cask at the Kings Head, Leicester. Dark brown but a little but translucent and a small beige head. Roast chocolate malt with a Terry's orange twist. More confectionery than citrus but I can live with that. Sweet taste, lots of milk chocolate, some toasty malts, a touch of candied orange. Some gritty bitterness in the finish but not enough for proper balance. Not bad.

Cask at Jewellers Arms, Hockley. Only a very hurried rate due to needing to catch a train, Anyway, pours a dark reddish-brown with a small cream head and good lacing. No discernable aroma at all. In the mouth the flavour is mostly burnt orange marmalade with some hints of roasted malts and dark fruits. Finish is rather bitter. Overall, a bit weird.
