Tap. Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma is fritteuse fat, chocolate, roasted malts. Taste is the same. Chalky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Not great.

Bottle. Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma is wood sugar, pear, chocolate. Taste is wood sugar, pear, plums, tart, chocolate, schnapspraline. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Good, much better than this brewery's non-BA offers.

"Zombräu Bärensud", Flasche (75 cl) von Craftbeer-Dealer.com. - Dunkleres Rotbraun, leicht trüb. - Reiche Nase, die an einen Weizenbock erinnert: breites karamelliges Malz mit schwerer obergäriger Fruchtigkeit, süß und leicht herb mit Aprikosenkonfitüre, Honig, Kräutern und Rhabarber, reich aber rund. - Antrunk füllig malzsüß mit milder fruchtiger Herbe und herber Honigsüße, gekonnt abgerundet durch zart unreife Hopfenherbe mit Anklängen an Melone (Hallertauer Melon) und zarte fruchtige Säure. Etwas milder rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang schön aromatisch hopfenherb und etwas kühl. - Schweres, komplexes aber rundes Honigbier, bei dem der Honig stets präsent ist, ohne zu dominieren, nicht platt süß sondern spritzig fruchtig-herb. Klasse! - Das Etikett spricht von einem "Biermischgetränk aus 80 % Starkbier und 20 % Met", auf der Brauerei-Website dagegen heißt es, der Honig werde gemeinsam mit dem Bier vergoren.

Amber with little white head. Aroma is grapes gooseberries toffee apricots. Taste is flat stale bitter with slight fruits. Drinkable but mealy and heavy. Too oxidized.

Black with medium brown head. Aroma is nuts phenols petroleum dried figs. Taste is sour grapes bitter oils and phenolic bullshit. Not really drinkable. Very candle wax. Bah.
