Old Fountain. Light haze on this gold beer, tidy white head. Light dry palate. Initially dry and astringent, it takes awhile for the hop fruit to kick in. When it does there is mango, orange pith and a touch of lemon. Dry finish with good bitter linger. Just a tad too bitter on the start.

Cask at the Evening Star, Brighton on 2nd January 2012. Hazy gold with thin bubbly head and no lace. Grassy hop fronts aroma and main taste. Intensely grassy hoppiness in-mouth along with some floral notes. Touch of lemony citricity. Fruity, floral and grassy blend continues to an enjoyable finish, on a light mouthfeel and body.

Cask handpull at The Star Huddersfield. Black with dark brown edges lasting tan head. Actually rather minty. Some spice touch of cold coffee but mostly a minty choccy porter. Enjoyable if not what i was expecting
