Muffiger Getreidegeruch. Süßer, etwas malziger Antrunk, die Süße wird im Mittelteil deutlich stärker. Der Hopfen lässt sich nur kurz blicken, der Malz überlagert es dann direkt, die Getreidigkeit stellt aber auch das Malz schnell in den Hintergrund. Leicht würziger und sehr süßer Nachgeschmack. Süßer Antrunk mit mild herbem Beiton, würzig. Etwas malzig im Nachgeschmack, scheint aber eher halbherzig. Das "herzhaft", wie auf dem Etikett beschrieben, kann hier gefunden werden, deutlich hopfig-herb ist es hier zusätzlich. Netter Nachgeschmack, der Rest ist eher langweilig. Bottle: Golden coloured, no head to speak of; delicate sweetish-grainy nose with a touch of cardboard; robust sweetish flavour, medium bodied; sweet-grainy finish, slightly bitter with the faintest traces of a citousy fruitiness. O.K., no earth-quake......

Bottle, 5.5%. Slight banana aroma, a bit citric. Cloudy golden colour, big stable white head. The mouthfeel is wheaty, perhaps a bit slimy. The flavour is sweet with a bit of banana.

Bottle (courtesy MoritzF): Pale golden, thin foamy layer, sweetish pale-malty, bready nose (or sour dough ?) with a tinge of caramel; faint malty flavour, light bodied to watery; nearly no finish, only traces of malt combined with a nearly non-existing bitterness and a metallic something. A "typical" boring Helles from Niederbayern (Lower Bavaria), these horrible brews can be found quite often along the Danube between Regensburg and Passau...................

(bottle) Hazy golden colour with a firm and stable foamy white medium head. Sweet malty and slightly banana-fruity aroma with cloves and a tinge of vanilla. Medium to light bodied, medium carbonated mouthfeel. Fruity and malty taste, moderately sweet. Quite dry, fruity and slightly clovy finish. Clean and decent Weizen.

(bottle) Slightly hazy pale golden hue with a big foamy white head. Sweet malty and spicy aroma with banana. Light to medium bodied, quite dry maltiness, with well bound fruity notes and spice in the finish. Okay.

(bottle) Clear mahogany and a diminishing frothy tanned head. Weak sweet caramel malty aroma with a hoppy note, slightly metallic. Sweet toastmalty taste, medium to light bodied, lively carbonated mouthfeel, dry and bitter hoppy short finish with notes of dark chocolate. Drinkable decent Dunkel.

(bottle) Clear golden colour with a mid-sized white foam. Grainy malty nose with a tinge of honey and grassy hops. Grainy malty taste, dry, slightly herbal hoppy and light bitter finish. Ok but definitely not great.

(bottle) Clear golden colour with a small creamy white head. Sweet and light grainy malty nose with honey and a dense touch of hops. Medium sweet flavour, medium to light body. Slightly toasted malty taste, light hoppy and bitter finish. Still quite boring but better as the Aldersbacher Klosterhell, Urhell and Ursprung.
