330 ml bottle, bb 24. Nov. 2016. Thanks to Werckmeister!
Dark brown body, with a medium, creamy, lacing, dark beige head.
Aroma of milk coffee, roast, chocolate, cocoa, dark fruits, some liquorice.
Tastes of lactose, milk chocolate, cocoa, sweet dark fruits, some coffee, some wood.
Medium, creamy mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes roasty-sweet, a bit dry, with lactose, cocoa, some wood, slight coffee.
Good. The nose is really nice, with a good balance between sweet and roasty notes. The taste is too sweet for my liking though. Overall interesting, aromatic stuff, but not among my favourite style examples from Austria.

0,33l bottle at home bought at the brewery / brewpub (about a month ago). BB 24.11.2016. dark yellow hazy color, small white head. smells lightly sour, leathery, light green apples, parfumy. ok, but weird smell definitly not on style. medium body, rather aggressive carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes sour, leathery, earthy, citric, barnyard, rather funky. finishes medium sour with notes of barnyard and some light citrus. overall rather nice one, but definitly not on style. as a sour beer this probably would have gotten even a higher rating. overall i feel a bit generous to give 3.2 the beer :P

0,33l from tap at the brewpub. black colour, small tan head. smells roasty, lightly sour, earthy, light ash, coffee, light doughy. nice smell. medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes roasty, licorice, light caramel, light sweetness, spices, light fruits plums, lightly sour. finishes medium sweet and lightly toasty bitter with notes of licorice, caramel and some sweetness. overall good stuff, nice earthy / spicy notes, just a tad too sweet for me. this would be great without the sweetness (especially towards the finish it’s a bit too much).

0,33l from tap at the brewpub. Orange quite hazy color, small white head. smells fruity, light bready, spices, more like rotten fruits, ok smell but light off notes. medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes yeasty, spices, peppery, quite critic, acidic, light peach, herbal. finishes yearly and lightly bitter with some herbal, peppery and light fruity notes. taste is very nice, very refreshing. did not care so much about the smell, but overall nice beer.
