Medium brown. Looks maybe a bit murky in there. Tough to tell. Thin head. On cask, not much nose. Kind of a coffee/hazelnut sort of malt character. Big body for style, but it’s strong for style, too, which probably explains it. A bit of burnt taste and a bit of tartness (actually it’s the right amount for a cask milk in my experience).

Purplish red colour. Not much head. On the nose, berries. On the palate, berries and tartness. I would say raspberry leads, which is awesome because there isn’t any raspberry in it. A fairly straightforward beer sour, all told.

I am not sure what the Maltese connection here is. It doesn't taste like Cisk! But hey, my grandfather was there on HMS Illustrious, got shot down even, so yeah, Malta. Dull blonde, with a slight chill haze and a thin head. On the nose, grainy and a bit of grassy hop. Similar palate. Up front malt sweetness gives way to herbal hops, and then back to a slightly gloppy malt sweetness in the finish. It’s decent pils. At least as good as Cisk. Ok, it’s better.

Dark brown. Not much head. Big coffee aroma. On the palate, the coffee is strong, but it’s balanced by a nice malt sweetness. Not a complex beer, but represents what it says quite well.

Great foam on a foggy yellow body. Smells of soft papaya, pineapple smoothie vibes. Taste is mellow chewy hops, more papaya, slight pine notes. Ends full and smooth. An easy, nice smoothie-like sour.

Okay clearish gold body, some okay foam. Smells of soft sweet hops and honeyed notes. Taste much the same with sweet honeyed grain, very soft hops, honey lingers and there's no crispness, it all feels tepid. A pretty boring cask ale.

Very weak gold body and minimal foam. Smells of very vague coconut and some soft hops. Tastes of more coconut, slight piney hops, ends smooth with lingering honey. Still quite boring, nothing becoming more than the sum of its parts.
