Bottle (purchased at the brasserie): Golden, visible lazy carbonation, mid-sized creamy white head; moderate citrousy-orangey-wheaty nose, traces of bananas and yeast detectable; soft MF, meium bodied, moderate sweet flavour; shorter sweetish-wheaty and a bit sourish finish. Pleasat, well rounded Weizen.............

Bottle, kindly provided by pivnizub. Hazy orange, golden cream. Straw and apple aroma. Edgy grain and hay base, good portion bittering hops. Medium to light body. Herbal and grassy retronasal.

(bottle) Hazy, amber colour with a medium sized off-white foamy head. Slightly dusty, moderately sweet and toasty malt aroma with liquorice and spicy herbal hops. Bitter flavour, light bodied with a light carbonation. Dry and slightly caramelly malty taste with notes of liquorice; a bit slim, very dry and bitter finish. Classic by the style (17.02.08).

Bottle (bought at the Brauerei): Greenish-golden, quite stable mid-sized creamy head, metallic grassy and grainy nose; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied; cardboardy traces in the dryer bitter finish. Unharmonic Pils, pretty disappointing.........

(bottle) Clear, dark brown colour with a fluffy, light-beige foamy head. Light-sweet, moderately roastey malty nose with light notes of toffee, traces of barnyard a distinctive herbal hoppy touch. Light-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Moderately roasty malty taste, light notes of caramel/toffee and herbal accents; moderately dry and bitter finish with a pleasant herbal hops character. A bit slim but drinkable Franconian Schwarzbier (23.01.08).

Bottle (purchased at the pivovar): Deep golden to very light amber coloured, small, but persistent off-white head, sweet-malty (with a tinge of toasted malt) nose, backed by delicate traces of hops and barnyard; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, soft MF; moderate sweet-malty finish with a good dash of hops comong late. Average by franconian standards, excellent by german..............

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a short, slightly off-white foamy head. Sweet, cara-malty nose, slightly buttery with a tinge of honey and herbal hoppy accents in the background. Soft bitter flavour with a rounded malty sweetness, light to medium bodied, smooth carbonation. Cara-malty, lightly bready taste with herbal notes in the wings; moderately dry and sweet, malt-accented and slightly herbal hoppy finish. Okay, without ups and downs.

(bottle) Clear, amber coloured with a medium-sized, light-beige foamy head. Sweet, nutty and toast-malty nose with caramel and a noticeable alcoholic touch. Sweet flavour, medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Toast-malty, nutty taste with caramel and light burnt sugar notes; sweet and moderately toasted malty finish with a present but not too disturbing alcoholic touch. Decent and warming Bock.
