The name Pips is not only a nod to the seeds in fruits, but also to counting devices like the symbols on playing cards or the dots on a die. Though, most importantly, it is a nod to our son, Parker, who was born with special needs. Not knowing what his future holds, Pips will forever be a home to him as a family owned business.
We firmly believe in continuous improvement at Pips. We simply make what we enjoy drinking, and are beyond humbled when we can put a smile on even one other face as a result. That said, we actively seek out learning opportunities and always plan on listening to feedback from our customers. Every voice matters, for it is because of you that we are able to do what we love to do.
We thank you for your support and for joining us on this journey.

On tap at Pips Meadery, pours a deep dark mahogany with a tiny pinkish brown head. Aroma is dominated by a cohesive yet bombastic mix of vermouth and mint, with rich honey nectar and pithy blackberries in back. Flavour is very rich, with intense blackberry jam, aggressive mint, and vermouth. Damn, on paper, I should hate this, but this is impeccable. Mint and vermouth in a blackberry mead? Yep, incredible.

On tap at Pips Meadery, pours a clear dark caramel colour, small beige head. Aroma smells like a banana pancake, along with banana bread, honey nectar, and a touch of bourbon. Flavour is liquefied banana bread thats been infused with honey, vanilla beans, and a touch of cinnamon. Super rich and treacly, with a syrupy mouthfeel that is somehow never cloying. What the hell this works beautifully.

On tap at Pips Meadery, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small purple head. Aroma is rich, with tons of currant, cinnamon, maple syrup, honey nectar and a touch of vanilla beans maybe a touch confused. Flavour is intense, with the jammy currant upfront, accentuated by liver cinnamon and maybe a hint of the vanilla. I dont get the maple syrup. Very rich; the currant provides just enough tartness to balance the sugar. This ones maybe a tad over the top and uncoordinated in comparison to their others; that said, its still fantastic.

On tap at Pips Meadery, pours a deep dark mahogany, no head. Aroma is full of jammy currants, gentle tartness/acidkty, and a touch of cherries, all wrapped in beautiful nectary honey. Flavour is very rich, with tart, jammy currants, gentle cherries, and honey nectar all in wonderful balance. Exquisite complexitythe currants lend just enough acidity to cut the sweetness. Wonderful.

On tap at Pips Meadery, pours a clear dark brownish amber, few bubbles worth of head. Nose is full of rich honey nectar, a touch of roast, and some floral notes. Flavour is super rich and treacly, with lots of rich honey nectar, treacle toffee, and gentle floral notes. Not picking up anything from the stout barrels. Surely but somehow not cloying. Really nice.

On tap at Pips Meadery, pours a deep dark mahogany, small purpleish pink head. Aroma is super rich, with intense blueberry jamminess, intense honey nectar, and light tartness. Flavour is ridiculously rich, with intense jammy blueberry, big honey nectar, and just a gentle tartness. Oh man, what depth from the blueberries. Wonderful.

On tap at Pips Meadery, pours a deep dark mahogany, tiny purpleish pink head. Aroma is wonderfully rich, with a decadent mix of jammy currant, cherry, honey nectar, and a touch of the anise. Flavour is ridiculously refined and elegant, with tons of jammy currant, jammy cherries, and just enough anise. Jammy, rich, moderately sweet, with the honey providing beautiful body. Wonderful.
