Nice clear amber coloured, medium sized white head, slight roasty and buttery nose. Mild roasted malt, pleasant nutty (chestnut) and caramel with notes of alcohol and hint of fruit. Trace of spices in rather dry finish. Enjoyable doppelbock.

Hazy yellow/golden coloured, small to medium sized white head, dryish banana nose. Moderate malty, sweet yeasty and banana taste with mild wheaty and quite dry finish. Expected better weizen.

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some slight grassyness, mild herbal and wooden notes as well. Flavour is sweet malts, some herbs, mild grassy notes as well as some balancing non-sweet malts as well. Actually big on the malts, with some mild bittery hops kicking in. Quite pleasant strongly malted brew.
