Description
Neptune Brewery has been brewing modern beers, inspired by tradition, since 2015. We’re a small but mighty team and proudly independent. Our beers are naturally conditioned and all the “uns” - that’s unfiltered, unpasteurised and unfined - ensuring the greatest flavour in each brew. It also means our beers are vegan friendly as we believe that everyone should be able to enjoy them.

Cask @ Clove Hitch, Liverpool [040916]
Black, tan head, light lacing
Aroma of soft dark malts, little roast
Taste of dark malts, quite rich roast, dark chocolate malts, not too roasty
Palate - Medium body, fairly bitter roast offset with malt sweetness. Finish of soft roast
Overall - Quite a decent oatmeal stout, although a bit thinner than I was expecting
