Description
Neptune Brewery has been brewing modern beers, inspired by tradition, since 2015. We’re a small but mighty team and proudly independent. Our beers are naturally conditioned and all the “uns” - that’s unfiltered, unpasteurised and unfined - ensuring the greatest flavour in each brew. It also means our beers are vegan friendly as we believe that everyone should be able to enjoy them.

2023 version. On tap at The Rake, Borough Market. Black pour with a tan head. Coffee,smoke, dark chocolate aromas. Similar approach in the flavours. Malty smoky dry stouty goodness.

On tap at The Rake, Borough Market. Hazy yellow pour with a white head.Zesty orange & tropical fruit aromas. Zesty orangey taste, touch of peach & apricot. Hoppy,fruity easy going brew.

Clear burnt gold with a frothy white head and a fruity nose. Soft and fruity with a a lovely bitterness, pushing towards piney notes with hoppy, citrusy bitterness and a dry finish

Bottle shared at the craft beer junction bermondsey tasting. Many thanks. A dark brown coloured pour with a loose light tan head. Aroma is light smoke, meaty roast, whiskey, peaty. Flavour is composed of brown sugars, bruised banana, Harsh alcohol. A little harsh overall. .

22/8/2024. Cask at the 32nd East Anglian Beer & Cider Festival. Pours hazy amber orange with a minimally bubbly head. Aroma is orange, lemon, piney, biscuit, malt, caramel. Moderate sweetness, bitterness and body. Slightly watery, soft carbonation. Not bad.

Cask at CPK, Pimlico on 24th August 2024. Slightly hazy gold with shallow off-white foam and full lacing. Hoppy aroma with pungent yeasts and spices. Rich and fruity in-mouth with a touch of saline. Nutty malts. A finish of grasses, tangy citrus fruits and nutty maltiness. Full bodied with a smooth mouthfeel.

Can shared in London. Cheers! Pours black-brown with a bubbly, tan head. Light sweet flavour, quite leafy, dry, earthy. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Dry, peaty finish, bitter and earthy. So so.

Bottleshare at CBJ. Thanks to someone. Light dry and finely crisp palate. Thinnish but rich dark malts, decent dark chocolate. Mild peat and spicy ripe fruits. Tidy.
