Hazy amber with a white head. Aroma is caramel, sweet fruity and very hoppy - grapefruit and peach. Flavor is rather sweet and very bitter. Very dry and bitter finish. A bit rough on the edges, but very good overall. I had this on tap at Fairbar at the sneak preview. 141010

On draught at Mikkeller bar, Copenhagen. Jet black looks with a medium size lingering tan head. Sweetish nose with notes of dark chocolate roasted malts and coffee. Similar elements in the flavour, with some hop bitterness getting involved, was picking up some berry fruit also and something I couldn’t put my finger on but reminded me of smoked ham?! Solid porter.

Draught at The Rover, Göteborg, on February 18, 2011Hazy golden color, fluffy lasting off-white head. Hoppy, fruity, citurs, bitter, sweet taste. Medium to moussy mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Fairly high after bitterness that lingers. Sweet, herbal, citrus, hoppy scent. Frsh, but could have a less bitter biter in the aftertaste.

Bottle shared with Mes&Sim, Leighton and Scopey at the CP&K. Cheers! Hazy amber beer, ghost of a white head. Softish palate. Sweetish hops - a little paint in there somewhere. Also fresh grapefruit keeping things lively. Finishes sweet and semi dry. Original rating 3.4.

Bottle from Bier Koning. Hazy amber beer with a good off white creamy head. Nice fresh hops. Start off piney grassy but gives way to orange marmalade and then grapefruit bitterness. Trace of pineapple as well. Creamy malt background. Nice IPA!

Bottle shared with Mes&Sim, Leighton and Scopey at the CP&K. Cheers! Opaque black beer. Small medium brown head. Light and soft palate. Roasty malt but with a lactose sweet edge. Dark malt sourness. Light dry finish. A full on porter - could not session this but as a one off it was good.

8/10/11/10/7/10

Bottle 33 cl. Pours golden with a slight haze and a dense and frothy white head with excelent retention. Very fruity and exotic hop aroma - grapefruit and pine. Medium body, some fruity sweetness, pine and citrus with a bitter finish. Nice indeed - fresher than most IPAs. 130211
