UzCarlsberg is the only brewery in Uzbekistan manufacturing international branded products.
The company started operation in 2006 named as Sarbast Plus JV as part of the well-known Baltic Beverages Holding. On October 6, 2008, after rebranding the plant was renamed into UzCarlsberg LLC. Since 2009, it became wholly owned by the Carlsberg Group. Since 2017, it is a part of the CBC Group.
UzCarlsberg is one of the leading companies in its industry. The company focuses on the production of high quality products. We control quality at each stage of the product life cycle according to more than 100 criteria and parameters from the supply of raw materials to delivery to the consumer.
The UzCarlsberg plant provided great opportunities to apply advanced foreign experience. The area includes more than 10 hectares, which is approximately more than 15 football fields. The construction costed EURO 100 million. It was equipped at a state-of-the-art level by specialists from Germany, Belgium and Denmark.
During these years, UzCarlsberg has always followed the traditions of European brewing, bringing Uzbekistan’s beer market to a qualitatively new level.
Our mission is to constantly raise the level and bring the domestic beer market to new heights.

Draught at a restaurant in Fergana, Uzbekistan. The smell was a bit off. The profile was interesting with a witbier like profile. Suprisingly light and refreshing.

--Canned. -- Clear pale golden, small head, Somewhat buttery nose with notes of winegums, grass and cooked vegetables. Sweetish with light body and clean, hard mouthfeel. Cooked cabbage and salty grass. Low bitterness.

--Canned. -- Almost clear golden, rich lively head. Floral honey meets vegetable soup up front. Mid sweet with light body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Fruity with vegetables and grass. Fairly low bitterness.

30/11/2024. Can shared at Ulfborg tasting. Pours clear pale orange gold with a frothy off-white head. Aroma is soapy, milky, lightly hoppy, metallic. Light bodied, watery, fizzy. Not great.
