Retimi stands for Rethymnian, since Retimo was the Venetian name of Rethymno. For us, Retimi also means REThymnian Independent MIcrobrewery.

In 2024, we welcomed Retimi into the Cretan brewing scene. The name stands for REThymnian Independent MIcrobrewery.

A team of beer lovers behind this passionate microbrewery brings quality beers & forward-thinking to the Cretan beer stage. They prefer to make small & solid steps in order to have a sustainable development.

0,33 l bottle from a supermarket in Gonia, Crete. Cloudy dark golden with a small short living white head. Smooth pale grainy, some caramel, low orange fruity. Taste has also caramel, some orange, pale malt in the second row. Above average carbonated. Low bitterness. Summer stuff.
