Draft. An unclear golden beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of malt, exotic fruits, hops, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes or exotic fruits, straw, malt, and hops, leading to a bitter finish.

(On tap @ Himmeriget, Copenhagen, May 12/17) Pours a hazy orange gold with a dense white head. Aroma is pretty sweet, fruity, caramel, sweet orange, mango, light pine, pretty juicy. Flavour is similarly on the sweet side, smooth, ripe mango and orange, some citrus peels, peach and grapefruit behind, some pine, lightly bitter, low bitterness, lingering sweet hoppy vibe. Fairly full creamy mouthfeel. On the sweet side for a modern IPA, but pretty solid and drinkable all the same.

Tap patricks. Dark like iced tea. From the start this is much better than expected, most domestic BW are so offensive, ruff & rude, this is not. It hides its alky content so well, watch out. Yes, this is much more civilized than the average domestic wannah bee barley wine, I’d say this is more like the old country stuff, much better than state side. I bet this would age so well. Yes, sir, nice job sole! Bout time an american brewer made a fun BW! Be careful when drinkin this baby.
