Bottle from Martins. Reddish black with a minimal head. Aroma is roasted malt. Flavour is sweet coffee, syrup, a little burnt. Overall a bit too thin and sweet.

Amber, slight haze, frothy white head
Aroma of fruits, slight cheesy, bit floral, odd nose, some hay, not great
Taste of citrus zest hops, piney hops, some burnt orange, damp hay, very hoppy but very rough as well
Palate - Medium carb and body, very bitter zest hops. Finish is dry, very bitter, rough, astringent
Overall - Rough hewn and clumsy. May revisit this but this bottle wasn’t good

Aroma - Slight roast, very little on the nose
Taste of soft roast, some coffee grounds, light burnt notes, dark malts
Palate - Medium carb and body, some bitter roast. Finish of roasted malts, dab of burnt toast, roasty finish
Overall - Roasty stout with little aroma - probably better cask looking at the other reviews here

Bottle. Blackish brown coloured beer with a strong lightly brown coloured head. The aroma is mildly roasted and milky, and the flavour is roasted with bags of maltiness. Overall a very nice strong porter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Callans, at mum and dads, 06/06/16. Clear golden blonde with a decent white head that retains well. Nose is light citric peel, freshly cut grass, stra, bready notes. Taste comprises lemon zing, straw, light spice, faint white pepper, pale malts, toasted grain, tangerine. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light grassy bitterness. Adequate golde ... probably the weakest of the offerings I’ve had from Brehon but ticks the style boxes non the less.

Bottle at Torben Mathews tasting. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter nice caramellic flavor. Average moderate bitter very caramellic finish. Oily palate.
