Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. As Stern 1872 Export. Grainy malt aroma with notes of straw and bittering noble hop. Lightly sweet, moderate bitter. Medium body. Nice clean Lager, can't fault this.

Light hoparoma with a hint of matl. Hopbitter flavor, also with metal (not a surprise, it’s the Ruhrgebiet!) Medium bodied with a touch of malt character. No more than decent.

bottle, Danke MoritzF! Clear pale yellow colour with a large white head. Flowery-perfumy hoppy nose. Slightly malty background with lots of fragrant floral hops. Slightly bitter with hints of wet cardboard.
