Bottle, 14.5%. Spicy aroma, hint of aniseed or perhaps cough syrup. Clear dark golden colour. The flavour is very sweet and nicely spicy. Has a good honey flavour and a hint of aniseed.

Blond color. The aroma is quite pungent; there is honey, very floral, lightly soapy, and with plastic too. Sweet honey flavor, even if the body is quite lean, with a citrus acidity that balances the sweetness well; the alcohol warmth is clearly perceived (maybe too much); the final is citrusy and a bit dry. Good but not complex.

bottle from Lyme Regis Wines (08/2010). Golden yellow, mid-sized head, hoppy nose. Malty, bitter-sweet with a good portion of hops. Strongly reminds me of a well-crafted Czech lager (though I don’t know how that is possible).
