Bottle bought in West Bay, Dorset. Golden coloured with slight carbonation. Sweetish apple juice aroma, with a hint of the barnyard. Flavour of sweet fruit, getting slightly drier in the finish. Ok, but a bit lacking in distinctiveness.

Picked up from a small off licence on Lyme Regis High Street 02-4-10 consumed the same day This is a beer that from the label on the bottle is clearly described as being brewed for Lyme Bay by Glastonbury Ales Pours warm gold with a slight haze, quite bitter, bit fruity, its not bad at all. Bottle at London Gathering Nov 05. For me, one of the drinks of the Gathering. But I have a feeling that only Silk and I will agree on that. Beautiful deep copper colour with no head. Lovely nutty honey, nougat aroma. Really good buttery caramel in mouth, with a touch of herb. Sweet in mouth with more nuts and toffee/butter. Could have curled up with the rest of the bottle and an open fire and got sozzled.
