Bottle from Oban Beer Seller. It pours clear oily gold with a decent fluffy white head. The aroma is bright, zingy, tangy, lovely white wine, gooseberry, fruit crumble, orchard fruits, pineapple, white grape, sherbet, ambergris and custard tart. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, puckering, white grape, gooseberry, lemon - lime, sherbet, vinous, white wine, grape must, pineapple , restrained acidity, dry oak, muted funk and light tannin with a drying finale. Average body and fine carbonation. Lovely flavour and balance. Beer in white wine form. Classy and moreish.
