Bottled, thanks koelschtrinker! Clear pale golden, small head. Light spicy hops, butter and paper up front. Mid sweet with light-medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Maize and butter, light spicy hops. Mid bitter finish. Quite generic.

Very weird attempt at making a fictional beer come to life. A German company apparently conceived the idea to make Duff Beer from "The Simpsons" a tangible reality and this is the result: loose, snow white head, colour golden blonde, clear. Weak aroma of sweet pale malts, popcorn, mineral water, some grassy hops, some iron. Simple taste of pale malts with a rather disturbing corn-like sweetness, minerals, thin mouthfeel, finish very lightly hoppy but primarily watery. If the aim was to create an ironically stereotypical bland mass-marketed lager: mission accomplished. However: ask Moe if he has any craft beer, Homer, you’ll never know what hit you! But keep Barney away from it...

The brew starts smooth, easy ti drink with no distinctive characteristic. Smooth, hints of grain, hints of malt. No bitterness. The aftertaste is smooth with not much aroma.

330ml bottle. Clear, orangey golden colour with average, frothy, fluffy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Slightly grainy aroma, nice grassy hoppy overtones. Taste is moderately bitter hoppy, fresh grassy, minimally chalky, mild, bready, malty background. Not spectacular, but nicely balanced, refreshing and a well-done "implementation" of good old-fashioned Hallertauer.

330ml can. Clear golden amber colour, foam white head and aroma of malt, grain, straw. Taste is similar, malt & grain with straw and metallic bitterness. Light bodied, medium carbonation, metallic bitter finish. Bland lager.

Many thanks for this bottle to Beerhunter111. Pours clear golden with healthy amount of white head. Smells of grain and corn. Pretty light on taste.
