Süßlich-würziges Festbier. Recht süßlich mit einem Hauch Malz, leichte Herbe im Abgang, süffig aber nicht zu tief. Nett.

Can, 0.33l. Clear pale golden color with medium frothy white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma is grainy, bready and grassy. Tastes light sweet and sour grainy and grassy with crisp and dry mouthfeel and light bitter finish. Light body, thin texture and lively carbonation in palate. Poor, boring and lifeless, Homer’s polar opposite :)

Leicht süßer Antrunk, mild herber Hintergrund. Im Grunde bleibt es so bis in den Nachgeschmack, etwas trocken, monoton. Langweilig aber trinkbar. 4/5/6/4/5/4

Bottle looks simple but okay. Beer in the glass zippy, huge head. Starts mild, quite moldy-malty, bready and wheaty notes. Finish unbalanced. Not so good.

From a 355ml can on 30/11/2014 (made in the USA and labelled ’Australian Edition’ but this is the only Duff entry that looks close to the mark). Pours a clear golden with a biggish white head that disappears quickly. Has a grainy, corny macro lager smell. Flavour is ordinary as suspected, a bit stale and metallic, with corn and some slight grassy character and the mildest hops. Thin body and average carbonation. Much as I admire Homer Simpson, his taste in beer is highly questionable. Typical macro lager.

Many thanks to ThirstyBird. The beer starts smooth and fresh. Slightly grainy, not too deep. Highly drinkable. A nice smooth bitterness is in the mainpart, quite watery with a nice sweetish-grainy undertone. The aftertaste is medium, watery-grainy, easy to drink and a bit sweetish-watery with not much bitterness.
