Description
An independently owned award winning micro-brewery, we started in an ancient milking shed just outside Bexhill, East Sussex. We’re now in a 2000 litre purpose built facility on the sprawling Sussex Downs just outside of Brighton where we brew traditional beers with a modern twist.
The music is always turned up too loud and in a nod to our roots, we have cows as next door neighbours.
We have a lovely community on our farm, working closely with our landlord and supplying beer to his son who runs the butcher’s and farm shop on site.

On cask at the Stockbridge Tap. Appearance - dark brown to black with orange chinks. Nose - smoke and dark chocolate. Taste - more of the same. Roasty edge. Palate - medium bodied and smoky. Dry smokey finish. Overall - this lies somewhere between a dry stout and a mild and it's good.
